Leadership and Team Building
Aims:
This
course is designed to introduce and begin the development of leadership
and team building skills in managers at all levels.
Objectives:
By
the end of the course candidates will be able to:

Describe
what is meant by Leadership and Teamwork
·
Differentiate
between the skills activities and attitudes which support teamwork and
those which detract from it
·
Have the
underpinning knowledge on team development and team member roles
·
Assess
their own performance as a leader and devise development plans for
themselves and their teams
One
Day Course Programme
The
course is designed to involve the candidates in examining successful and
unsuccessful styles of organisation leadership in order to draw out the
key development points in their own performance as leaders.
The role of the leader in creating and maintaining organisation
behaviour and effectiveness and the identification and development of team
building skills are the central competencies addressed by this course.
The
event is suitable for newly appointed supervisors and managers as well as
those with more experience seeking to improve their skills.
